Neptune into Pisces: Are You for REAL?

All the great principles of the Piscean age are embodied in the energy represented by the planet Neptune. Describing this energy is the most difficult for Astrologer’s since it is the total of all known and unknown realities. It is a fog that covers the earth which is seen but nebulous to the grasp. Simply, it is GOD, which our mind destroys with any definition. It is the glue of the universe called agape love. We know there is love in our hearts, but we cannot fully describe or prove that energy called love. That is Neptune, like water, has no form without a container, yet can take shape and form to whatever holds or surrounds it.
The best way to describe Neptune and the effects of Neptune in Pisces is by observation and correlation of how all life, especially humans respond to its cycle through the heavens. By understanding some of the keywords associated with Neptune we may get a glimpse of how humanity will be re-shaped over the next 13 years it is in its home sign of Pisces.
Neptune represents the sub-conscious mind. This is also where Carl Jung attached the “collective unconscious” the mind of mass humanities thoughts. There is a reality that lives in our sub-conscious where we have stored memories, emotions, experiences, and have the entire collection of our individual and collective pasts. This is where the human drama throughout history is stored. It is the symbols, archetypes and knowledge humanity has passed along from one generation to another.
Neptune can be defined by the enlightened beings and shamans that can experience all life in all realities passing in and out of worlds and universes unknown. Here is where spirituality has its nebulous form. We call this indefinable form “connection” and “relationship” to all consciousness which may or may not be conscious. So we must honor all life as equals and respect all that is or might be because is of the one body of Spirit.
There is no time or space in Neptune land, so to be Neptunian we must have faith in the “ALL” and live in the very moment of our existence, be fully present. These two virtues have been taught by all of the enlightened beings. With faith we can move mountains and only when we are in the moment can we truly be creative.
Yet it is Neptune that binds all humanity. It connects us to one another and when Astrologer’s see a monetary windfall, from the lottery, or sudden riches, there is a Neptune transit. The collective unconsciousness of Neptune, bestows gifts or payment of riches, a dharma, a payment for a good deed, which changes ones reality. But it’s also Neptune, Pisces which rules institutions, jails, hospitals which is where society sends those that need help, healing or those that must be segregated because of their socially unacceptable behaviors. Neptune rules Democracy, all is for one and one is for all. We all are part and parcel of the one body, and what effects one affects us all.
The beauty of Neptune is found in the place of inspiration. Where songs just pop in for the song writer or the painting for the painter but this is the place of illusions. And illusion accepted as reality is delusion. Whatever gets repressed gets distorted and will eventually lead to clarity. Neptune represents addiction and whatever we are addicted we will eventually lose desire and become clear about truth, reality.
So where will Neptune take us in our evolutionary journey? One of the effects is being seen and felt already. Mass consciousness will reign supreme over individuals motivated by ego and power for self promotion. There will be a reduction of power in the hands of the few.
A spiritual inclination among people will grow as organized belief systems will lose some glamour. Religious is an external philosophy while spirituality is an internal experience. But true to being Neptune there will be a sprouting of secret societies and fringe elements that will be fostered to gain a spiritual power i.e. black magic.
Along the spiritual lines more and more people will begin to acknowledge clairvoyance, clairaudience and mystical powers. There will also be greater inspiration for artistic, poetic talent and way out fashions. Neptune rules film and actors so I would expect better movies and several unusually talented actors/actresses to appear.
As has already begun to occur I expect many cases of fraud and deception. The medical field, petroleum, mines and criminal institutions are a few areas the masses will be shocked at the corruption taking place. The waste of so much when many will have so little will be unacceptable while Neptune reigns.
Another issue will be a lack of rational thought with society experiencing those in power with presenting ideals that will be more delusional and glamorous than possible. A definite socialist movement will take hold but strikes and labor unrests could turn people against unreasonable demands.
We must not forget Neptune is a double edged sword as addictions could take on a whole new dimension along with immorality, deception and perversion. There will be those that will totally run from responsibility.
The greatest reward of Neptune for humanity is a coming together as a single voice. Much can be gained from a greater experience of community. And our spiritual voice will be much louder.

The Balsamic Time of Year: The Calm Before the Storm!

As I get back to work from a quick trip to Virginia Beach, the rising sun is still etched in my mind coming up over the ocean. It’s been a long time since I took that in from the 8th floor of the ocean front hotel balcony. It is a surreal feeling listening to the ocean crashing on the beach while the orange flame begins to light the sky. As I sat there pondering the change in energy this year with the ruler of the oceans, Neptune, moving into the sign of the oceans Pisces, while we are moving into the Balsamic Phase of the year, Pisces, I must admit I lost myself, Neptune, in the moment.
As of February the 3rd the planet of God consciousness entered into Pisces, its own sign until 2025. Yes, it is a slow process but a sure process that effects change in humanities realities. I personally feel of all the changes coming over the next 4 years this is really the most important. In simple terms since the article for this month’s newsletter is all about Neptune lets suffice it to say for right now Neptune is the energy of agape love and the connection of all things in the universe including all dimensions however you choose to connect.
It’s very serendipitous this energy would be entering into Pisces, its natural sign, while we enter into the Balsamic time of the year which is very Pisces. Balsamic is the time where we are in a letting go phase. In the natural cycle the spring equinox is the true beginning of life coming alive. So for the next 45 days we are living out the winter in a sheltered existence waiting for spring while pondering the prospects of the New Year.
Balsamic Phase is releasing and letting go but also dreamtime. This is an inspiring time of the year as our constant introspection builds a frustration and desire for activities and action. Then by spring time we are really ready to jump into action.
The Balsamic Phase is related to the Spiritual Mental body or as the “On Time” work describes it as the Intellectual Body of Man. This body is powered by perception and thought. Hearing and sound awakens the intellect. Hearing relates to the internal voice which connects us to our sub-conscious mind, dreams and our high self. You could think of this time as listening to our marching orders. We are also assessing our past and linking our internal urgings with our desires for the future.
Sound is the connection of all outer listening. We are all moved by some external stimulus such as music, moving water, singing, natural earth sounds, talking and communicating along with many others. A healing sound of vibration such as tuning forks would be an example of an external sound that would cleanse and release energy in the body where it’s been stagnant. Watching movies or hanging out at the shopping malls feeling up your wish basket is very much a part of the dreaming process even if it’s daydreaming.
As we ended the calendar year in 3rd Quarter we began to experience our accomplishments and failures for the year. There has been a sense of wanting/desiring something more. As we move to Balsamic we are stimulated to rebuild our ambitions to create a new dream to accomplish more, something bigger, better and more creative than the past. By pouring out the stagnant waters in the glass we can re-fill the glass with fresh water. So now is the time to release, let go and dream.
The Balsamic Phase is also where we can align with the highest aspect of ourselves. This is where we listen to the intuitive guidance of our high self. Spiritually, this is where the personality self and the true self can merge. It is important to listen during this phase to our inner voice. Our biggest obstacle is the personality is powered by our emotions, instincts and feelings. The “High Self” can only be clearly heard when the personality has stepped aside allowing pure intellect and thought. We are able to think clearly when the personality is not involved. We call this meditation.
Balsamic is represented by purity on the Medicine Wheel. By releasing at Balsamic the tools of the personality, emotions, instincts, and feelings, we are free to listen, assess and know what needs to be done to maintain our balance (yang/yin) and direction to move up the spiral of evolution.
Now is the time to plant the seeds of tomorrow and journal your wishes for next year. That year start March 21st, the first day of spring.

The Bridge of Innocence

This will be a year of dynamic change. Humans don’t do well with change, so let’s look to nature for guidance on the bridge leading to change. Astrology, is a tool man can use for the signs of change. The sign that stands out the most is two major planets, Uranus/Pluto, beginning a 2nd Quarter phase in June, setting the stage for the next 3 years. This energy is roughly a 200 year cycle that involves a major evolution of civilization and personal awakening.
This part of the cycle tells us on a personal/physical level we need to be mindful of all stress related imbalances. There will be changes in the rhythm of biological processes which means being aware of your nerves and breathing. A great routine to follow this year will be to choose an activity of movement that calms the nerves and yoga or exercise program that creates deep breathing which is calming when one is under stress.
We will have a little support from Mars, the energy of action, for the first 6 months of the year as it will be in an internalizing cycle. It is in the sign of Virgo which is the sign of habits, routines and health. This will be supportive starting in late January to adhere to routines that will keep our nerves calm while facing daily frustrations and help us listen to what our bodies are telling to us.
And lastly, if there ever was a time to detach from our ego identifications of success and failure, now is that time. We are on the bridge of change, and it will take time for the new ways of life to form in society and around the world. It takes a lot of steps to cross a bridge, so try to see things as a cycle, one part of the spiral, which leads us all to an ever greater awareness of our spiritual roots. Thus, the individual whose innocence is fixed upon spiritualization, not external gratification, should genuinely radiate INNOCENCE and inner peace. Stay well.
